Supporting You to Flourish and Thrive
A Warm, Intergrative Approach to Healing and Growth
My work is deeply shaped by both my professional training and my personal experience as a parent. I understand first-hand how complex and emotionally demanding it can be to support a child through big feelings, anxiety, and overwhelm — while also trying to hold everything together yourself.
This is one of the reasons I feel so passionate about supporting both young women and parents. I see how early struggles with confidence, anxiety, and self-esteem can shape how we experience the world, and how important it is to feel understood and supported through those challenges.
I also believe strongly in the importance of a strengths-based approach — both in how we support ourselves and how we support our children. By helping young people build resilience, self-belief, and emotional awareness, we give them tools that will stay with them throughout their lives.
My Philosophy
Rooted in Evidence-Based Practice, Grounded in Humanity
My work is grounded in:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Solution-Focused Therapy
Appreciative Inquiry
Positive Psychology
Person-Centred Counselling Principles
These approaches share a belief in human potential, resilience, and the power of focusing on strengths. I am passionate about helping clients feel empowered, reconnect with what supports them, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Each session is tailored to your needs — whether that’s therapeutic exploration, practical coaching tools, strengths-based work, or a blend of all three.
My Story
My Why
Born in Iceland and later moving to the UK and Jersey, I often struggled to find a place where I truly felt I belonged. I believe this is where my fascination with psychology and human behaviour began. Even growing up, I was often seen as the ‘mum’ of my friendship group, enjoying supporting and caring for those around me. People have often described me as a natural motivator, and I love helping others see past their struggles, reconnect with their strengths, and identify a path forward.
As I began my professional training, my passion for supporting people continued to grow. Discovering Positive Psychology felt like finding a place where I truly belonged — a framework that resonates with my belief in human potential, resilience, and growth.
I bring warmth, authenticity, and curiosity into my work, creating a compassionate, collaborative space where every client feels understood, supported, and inspired to move forward.
